I derive my love of dogs and training from my parents, John Senior aka The Dogman 24 and Eileen. My father owned and operated J&K Kennels in East Brunswick and my mother ran a kennel in Monroe Township. I proudly use some of my father's tried and true methods to this day.
According to my mother, I was born with the dog bug. When I was 11 years old she bought us a German Shepherd puppy and I learned how to handle him in dog shows. This led to opportunities to handle other people's show dogs and many wins in the North America, including Best of Breed in Madison Square Garden.
I've trained with many great dog trainers throughout the years including Lt. Mark Weber, a Master Dog Trainer at the Union Country Sheriffs K-9 Unit, as well as Loretta Culver of South Brunswick Kennels. When I became a police officer I was a K9 Handler for 12 years. I've handled bomb-sniffing, search and rescue, and cadaver dogs.
Since leaving the police force I have trained dogs for all different purposes: comfort, hunting, tracking, protection, show, obedience, and everyday companion pets. I firmly believe there are no bad dogs, just untrained owners. For this reason, I train both you and your dog. I bring decades of experience and my own personal touch to my work. I truly want what is best for you and your dog and enjoy every minute with you all.
